ONE COMPATH, Inc., a member of the Toppan Group, will begin full-scale provision of its original advertising distribution service, “Shufoo! Osiad,” utilizing the marketing platform “Red” with technology provided by FreakOut Inc., in October 2025. The service targets retail companies, including those involved in retail distribution, and enables low-budget advertising. Furthermore, a new digital sales promotion strategy will utilize the unique ID data and location information of the company’s own media, “Shufoo!”, to attract customers who do not view flyers or who have never visited a store.
As consumer purchasing decisions become more diverse, retailers are increasingly required to communicate more appropriately with each individual consumer, making digital marketing increasingly important. However, in order to acquire new users and increase their loyalty, companies face challenges in areas where their own first-party data alone cannot visualize and where it is difficult to justify their strategies. Furthermore, regulations on third-party cookies have made traditional tracking-based advertising, such as targeted advertising and retargeting, difficult to implement. This service utilizes technology from FreakOut’s marketing platform “Red,” which boasts one of Japan’s largest ad inventory and a proprietary machine learning engine. “Shufoo! Osiado” advertising operations can attract new customers, including those who do not view flyers or have never visited a store.

In addition to the traditional targeting settings of Red, Shufoo! Osiad can deliver ads using mobile device ID data and location information from Shufoo!, operated by ONE COMPATH. No account opening or registration is required, and highly targeted advertising can be started on a low budget, enabling ad delivery specifically targeted to retail distribution and manufacturing companies.
