Tokyo-based app growth marketing company aix Inc. has received strategic investment from Delight Room, the operator of the alarm clock app “Okoshite ME (Alarmy)” that is popular in 90 countries around the world. This investment is a collaboration aimed at strengthening the global competitiveness (including the Japanese market) of “DARO,” an advertising monetization solution developed and operated by Delight Room, with the aim of enhancing the sophistication of the company’s own ad tech services.
aix provides global expansion support, including to the Japanese market, to the world’s leading app publishers, such as Slopes, 18Birdies (US), Luni (France), Tiimo, Vizor Games, and Terahybe (EU). In recent years, the company has also focused on data-driven B2B marketing solutions, releasing the ASO analysis tool “ASOindex” in 2023 and the Japanese market-specific advertising platform for gaming apps “Rocket A” in 2024.

Delight Room hopes that collaboration with aix will create new revenue opportunities for companies that have adopted DARO. In fact, as of May 2025, more than 10 clients who have adopted DARO have achieved an average increase in advertising revenue of more than 2 times. These achievements are the result of optimizing the in-house advertising operation know-how that Alarmy has accumulated over more than 10 years according to the characteristics of each app. For example, advertising sales at Between, a messenger app for couples that is popular in Japan, grew by about 3 times after introducing DARO.
