RainForestのSendaシリーズにAI CPE検出機能が追加されました。

RainForest Inc. is pleased to announce that it has officially implemented an enhanced CPE automatic identification engine function that utilizes generative AI (LLM: Large Scale Language Model) in its domestically developed cybersecurity products “Senda Series (Senda-Discover and Senda-Radar)”. In addition to the conventional signature-based system, the AI ​​performs identification and estimation processing for unknown banner information and spelling variations, significantly improving the accuracy of visualization of the attack surface and the comprehensiveness of vulnerabilities.

近年、攻撃サーフェスの可視化や制御の重要性が高まる中、従来のポートスキャンやバナー解析に加え、サービス識別や脆弱性管理の自動化が求められています。 レインフォレスト は、「Senda-Discover」と「Senda-Radar」という2つの製品を通じて、外部および内部ネットワーク上のリスク情報の収集、可視化、分析を研究開発しています。

これらの製品に共通するCPE識別エンジンは、バナー情報からサービス名やバージョンを推測し、NVDなどの脆弱性データベースと照合する仕組みを採用しています。しかし、実際のバナー表現は構造化されていないことが多く、記述にばらつきがあるため、検出漏れや誤検出が避けられないケースがありました。
