Cybereason LLC, a domestic provider of the cyber attack countermeasure platform “Cybereason” that utilizes AI (artificial intelligence), announces that Sakurada Hitotaka has been appointed Representative Director and President, effective May 1, 2025.
Sakurada has more than 30 years of experience and a proven track record in the IT and security industry, and is deeply knowledgeable in technology, marketing, sales, and management. He has held key positions at global companies such as Cisco Systems, Dell, Lucent Technologies, Fore Systems, and NewBridge Networks, and most recently served as head of services business at Citrix Systems and president of F-Secure Japan (now WithSecure). He joined Cybereason in May 2022 and has been driving the company’s business as head of business development, product business, and partner sales for the past three years.
Manish Narula, CEO of Cybereason Inc., said the following about Sakurada’s appointment as president:
“As Executive Officer and General Manager of the Business Promotion Division and Partner Sales Division of Cybereason LLC, Sakurada has demonstrated outstanding leadership and a deep commitment to our mission. We expect Sakurada’s leadership to play a pivotal role as we continue to expand Cybereason’s influence in Japan.”
