FastLabel Inc., which supports the development of robot-based models and domain-specific VLA (Vision-Language-Action) models, has begun supporting the launch of “AI Data Factory,” a large-scale data production facility of MW Inc., which is developing “Living Home,” a future “housing product” that perceives, judges, and acts autonomously through the fusion of architecture, AI, and robotics.
MW has been selected for the national project “Research and Development Project for Strengthening Post-5G Information and Communication System Infrastructure / Research and Development of Robot Infrastructure Models (GENIAC) (Subsidy) (including multi-purpose robots, etc.)” implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). MW is developing “MW bot,” a semi-humanoid robot that integrates with living spaces to perform household chores and forms the core of “Living Home,” as well as a robot infrastructure model specifically tailored to the Japanese housing environment. FastLabel will support the establishment of the “AI Data Factory,” which will serve as a base for data collection and production.

At “AI Data Factory,” we will build environments with dozens of booths that can replicate household tasks such as laundry, bathroom cleaning, entryway tidying, bed making, and kitchen tidying, and collect household behavior data using wearable direct teaching technology. This will help MW achieve its goal of collecting 50,000 hours of data annually, totaling 150,000 hours over three years, and contribute to improving the autonomy of “MW bot” and, by extension, “Living Home,” the intelligent homes that MW aims to create.
