Oracle and Google Cloud have begun offering ” Oracle Database@Google Cloud ” to customers in Japan . This powerful multi-cloud service is now available in Japan, allowing customers to use ” Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure ” and ” Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) ” in Google Cloud’s data centers in the Asia Northeast 1 (Tokyo) region. For the first time, Oracle and Google Cloud partners can purchase “Oracle Database@Google Cloud” through a private offer on the Google Cloud Marketplace and resell it to their own customers.
“Oracle Database@Google Cloud” is designed to help accelerate cloud migration and simplify operations of mission-critical database applications provided by Oracle, such as transaction processing in sales management, data warehousing and analysis in supply chain management, and real-time transaction processing in financial services and e-commerce. This enables customers to easily build new cloud applications using the industry-leading “Oracle Database” and migrate existing Oracle databases and applications to OCI in Google Cloud data centers.
Shinji Takezume, Senior Managing Executive Officer and Head of Cloud Business at Oracle Japan, said, “With the launch of Oracle Database@Google Cloud in Japan, we have seen rapid interest and demand for this multi-cloud service among both Oracle and Google Cloud customers. Customers in Japan can now seamlessly combine Oracle’s advanced database capabilities with Google Cloud’s cloud-native services. This initiative will help accelerate the use of data in AI and builds on Oracle ‘s commitment to invest $8 billion in Japan’s Oracle Cloud and AI infrastructure over 10 years.”

In addition, developers can use tools such as Google Gemini and Vertex AI to easily develop new cloud-native applications by integrating Oracle Database 23ai with Google’s advanced AI models. Existing グーグル・クラウド ユーザーは オラクル エンタープライズワークロードに最適化されたフルマネージド形態のデータベース。Google Cloud Marketplaceとの統合や、今後開始予定の新しいパートナープログラムにより、日本のお客様はクラウド環境の調達や管理の負担を軽減することができます。
