Nagarro is stepping into Japan with a straightforward move. It has acquired Inaho Digital Solutions, a small but focused IT services firm known for application modernization and SAP S4HANA work. IDS brings about fifty specialists split between Japan and India plus a bilingual delivery setup that already caters to Japanese clients at home and abroad.
The fit is obvious. Japan has a massive base of legacy systems that companies are trying to modernize without breaking operations. IDS has been doing that quietly for years through cloud projects, data and analytics work, and broader digital services. Nagarro gets an on ground team that understands the local expectations and can operate without the usual cultural or communication drag. For IDS, this ties them into a global engineering network with deeper capability.

The larger story is that global tech firms are finally treating Japan as a market that needs local depth, not fly in consulting. Nagarro is following that path and using IDS as its foothold.
