Assist Inc. has signed an agreement with Fivetran Inc. Starting July 15, 2025, Assist will offer Fivetran’s automated data pipeline platform in Japan. A data pipeline collects, converts, and moves data from different sources to a target destination.
Businesses are using cloud-based data warehouses (cloud DWHs) like Snowflake and AWS Redshift. So, the need for flexible data integration is increasing. Traditionally, organizations have relied on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools. These tools help create data pipelines for each source’s API and schema. However, the complexity of combining SaaS and on-premise systems has created challenges. Companies now deal with longer development times, higher costs, and more operational burdens when building new pipelines.
To tackle these issues, many are shifting from ETL to ELT (Extract, Load, Transform). In the ELT model, data is loaded into a cloud DWH with minimal processing. Transformations happen within the warehouse’s powerful processing capabilities. This method allows companies to keep their datasets current. They don’t need custom pipelines for every requirement.

Fivetran makes ELT easy. It lets you extract data without coding. You can pull data from many sources, like SaaS apps and on-premise systems. It also automates loading into cloud DWHs and data lakes. This cuts development and maintenance costs. It also builds a solid base for real-time data use.
Assist’s in-house evaluations showed that Fivetran works well with its existing solutions in BI, AI, data warehousing, and data integration. Since 2023, Assist has introduced Fivetran to some clients. This helps them build skills and gain hands-on experience.
Assist uses this knowledge to help clients modernize and improve their data platforms more effectively.
Assist won the “Rising Star Partner of the Year- APAC” award at the 2025 Fivetran Global Partner Awards, honoring its achievements. Notably, Assist was the only Japanese company to win an award this year.
