Yappli has launched ‘AI Assist,’ a new feature set designed to automate parts of app and website development inside its platforms Yappli and Yappli WebX. The company is pushing beyond the usual no-code pitch now. Instead of just helping companies build apps faster, it wants AI to handle parts of the actual operational workload too.
The new system allows users to generate app layouts, web pages, and CMS content using natural language commands. Instead of manually arranging components or handling repetitive updates, operators can give instructions and let AI generate or revise the output interactively. Yappli says this reduces production time and lowers the dependency on specialized teams for day-to-day operations.
What matters more here is the direction of the market. SaaS companies are no longer selling only ‘tools.’ They are trying to sell outcomes and operational efficiency. ヤプリ is openly framing this shift as moving from software people operate to software that operates on behalf of people.

The company is also leaning heavily on the scale of its ecosystem, which includes more than 40 million monthly active users, along with the customer data environments and operational infrastructure it has built over the years. That combination is becoming a major advantage as AI moves deeper into enterprise workflows.
