Cadence, Inc. announced on September 9 (US time) that it has expanded the capabilities of its Cadence Reality™ Digital Twin Platform by adding a digital twin of NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with DGX GB200 systems to its library. This new model of NVIDIA’s high-performance accelerated computing platform makes it easier for data center designers and operators to incorporate the world’s leading AI accelerators when building AI factories. The Cadence Reality Digital Twin Platform is a solution that enables highly accurate modeling of AI factories and data centers to specified SLAs, accurately accounting for cost, space, energy, cooling, environmental impacts, and more, before they are physically installed.
The Cadence Reality Digital Twin Platform enables designers to simply drag and drop vendor-supplied digital models to create highly accurate digital twins of data centers that function identically to their physical counterparts. Leveraging these digital models, engineers can accurately design entire data centers or campuses, specifying power, space, cooling, and performance requirements. Users can explore failure and upgrade scenarios with just a few clicks. Even after deployment, the Cadence Reality Digital Twin Platform can be used to track and maintain optimal performance throughout the data center’s lifecycle.
The addition of the NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD (powered by the DGX GB200 system) library is part of Cadence and NVIDIA’s ongoing collaboration . Earlier this year, the two companies announced that the Cadence Reality Digital Twin Platform will support the NVIDIA Omniverse blueprint for AI factory design and operations . Through the expansion of the Cadence Reality Data Center Digital Ecosystem, Cadence and NVIDIA are continuously improving the data center and AI factory construction process, ensuring it remains relevant to the latest design and operational needs of engineers who use it.
