Microsoft has launched its Agentic Launchpad initiative with NVIDIA and WeTransact with the goal of accelerating the UK and Ireland’s AI economy by helping software companies in the two countries build intelligent, next-generation agentic AI systems and platforms. It is built on Microsoft’s $30 billion investment in UK AI infrastructure and innovation.
With the Launchpad, Microsoft offers participants support to scale up, innovate, and be there for the next wave of AI. One of the chief benefits is that these businesses will have direct access to Microsoft and エヌビディア experts. They also get access to advanced AI expertise, technical sessions, and co-innovation opportunities. Microsoft is also offering developmental support via credits through Microsoft programs.
Another way that Microsoft is trying to support businesses is by helping them get to market more quickly through media campaigns, executive sponsorship, and brand marketing expertise. Participants will also have access to exclusive events, workshops, and summits, including the Microsoft AI Tour, helping them to establish important connections. Microsoft will also give the participants the opportunity to feature in Microsoft and partner communications, blogs, and press releases.

In terms of who should apply, Microsoft says that it’s looking for UK-based software development companies that are building agentic applications, intelligent systems, or GenAI platforms. マイクロソフト said it particularly wants ambitious teams ready to scale up and build on Azure.
