Wiz Co., Ltd. will begin offering the “AIO/GEO Countermeasure Agency Service,” a next-generation customer acquisition support service for stores, in collaboration with X-Gate Co., Ltd., starting April 20, 2026.
This service addresses the rapid shift in consumer store search behavior from “search engines” to “questions to generating AI,” by providing comprehensive support for AIO/GEO countermeasures in addition to conventional MEO countermeasures. Furthermore, it will be provided as a set with the existing NFC*4-based repeat customer cultivation tool “Dokoyorimo GATE,” providing consistent support from new customer acquisition to securing repeat customers and improving store ratings.
With the spread of generative AI such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, it is becoming commonplace for consumers to directly ask AI questions like, “What are some good shops near me?” or “Tell me about shops that specialize in [specific area],” and then decide which shops to visit based on the answers. On the other hand, the know-how for being “chosen” by AI is not yet widespread, and significant differences in response are beginning to emerge, especially among local and small businesses.

Traditional customer acquisition measures alone are leading to the following challenges:
• Even if a shop appears high in search results, its name is not cited in the AI’s response, and it is not recalled or selected.
• MEO measures are implemented, but there are no measures to address traffic sources other than Google Maps (AI search, generative AI responses).
• While new customers are acquired, there is no system in place to encourage repeat visits or accumulate word-of-mouth.
ウィズ has combined its expertise in DX support, which it has cultivated by working closely with businesses nationwide, with X-Gate’s customer acquisition technology to create a system that “completely handles” the measures necessary for store customer acquisition in the AI era.
