Japan-based secondz digital Inc. has raised 300 million yen in the first close of its Series A round, led by existing investor JAFCO Group and new investor Sumisho Venture Partners. The company plans to use the funding to expand its AI brand agent platform, ‘secondz Agentsense,’ while hiring AI engineers, consultants, and Forward Deployed Engineers to support enterprise sales transformation.
The company is betting on what it calls ‘Agent-Led Growth,’ a shift where AI agents increasingly handle search, comparison, and decision support before customers make final purchasing decisions. That change is already reshaping both consumer behavior and enterprise sales operations as businesses adapt to AI-driven discovery instead of traditional search and advertising models.

Its ‘secondz Agentsense’ platform tracks how brands appear across AI systems like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Google AI Mode, helping companies improve visibility and positioning in AI-generated responses. Alongside the platform, secondz digital also provides AI-focused sales transformation consulting for large enterprises, including projects with major Japanese firms such as Asahi Group and ORIX Life Insurance.
