Temu is tightening its grip on product quality. The company announced its partnership with DEKRA which is a global testing and inspection and certification organization on February 11 2026. The objective is straightforward. The marketplace needs improved product safety and compliance together with total quality assurance enhancements.
Under this arrangement, DEKRA will provide independent testing for selected electronic categories sold on Temu. That includes automotive electronics, consumer electronics, and related products. Sellers will be able to access DEKRA’s testing and certification support directly through Temu’s Seller Center. So the verification process becomes embedded inside the platform rather than handled separately.
Temu already mandates compliance documents from internationally recognized TIC institutes before certain higher risk products can be listed. Categories such as toys, high voltage electrical appliances, and heating equipment fall under that rule. The DEKRA partnership extends the current framework through additional formal monitoring procedures.
