“BtoB Platform Invoice” is an invoice cloud service that digitizes various invoicing operations, such as issuing and receiving invoices and notifying payment amounts. Since its launch in 2015, the service has been promoting the digitalization of invoices from an early stage, and is now used by over 1.2 million companies across a variety of industries and business types.
With the implementation of the invoice system in 2023 and the revision of the Electronic Bookkeeping Act in 2024, the digitalization of invoices is accelerating, while there are currently a variety of invoice issuance and receipt services on the market. In this environment, corporate accounting staff are spending a lot of time on repetitive tasks, having to accommodate the methods preferred by both the issuer and recipient of invoices, such as sending PDFs via email, uploading to dedicated websites, and responding by fax, in addition to the traditional paper-based exchanges.
