VRChat and NagisaConnect have started a partnership from March 1, 2026. The focus is advertising inside VRChat worlds operated by NagisaConnect. Under the agreement, new advertising options will begin rolling out and part of the revenue generated from those ads will be shared with VRChat.
The first place where this will show up is Himari Ryokan. It is one of the larger communication worlds inside VRChat. Users create topic based rooms and gather there to chat, similar to how online bulletin boards work. The world reached one million visits within three months of launch and now attracts more than 300,000 visitors every month.
The new advertising system introduces rotating poster displays. Instead of placing a single poster somewhere in a large virtual space, ads will appear as signage inside smaller rooms where users spend time talking. These posters rotate and appear roughly every five minutes.

There is also another format called the pedestal portal set. This setup combines posters with interactive elements such as avatar pedestals or world portals. The idea is to move beyond simple viewing and encourage actions like trying on avatars or visiting another world.
The partnership also introduces a direct link feature. Users will be able to move from in world advertisements directly to external web pages such as product information or application pages. According to the companies, this is the first time a Japanese interactive world inside VRChat is adding this type of direct linking system.
