CAST Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that on January 21, 2026, it signed a MoU with Marniq regarding a strategic partnership to conduct marketing and promotional activities, joint research, etc. for its product ” ULTRACK ” in Malaysia.
In January 2024, CAST opened an overseas base by moving into the Center of Garage Malaysia in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, with the aim of expanding sales channels by acquiring ULTRACK demonstration installation projects and local partner companies at plants in Malaysia and other parts of Asia.
Furthermore, in August 2025, our company’s research project to develop pipe thinning monitoring technology to contribute to industrial maintenance digital transformation in Malaysia and the Republic of Indonesia was selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s FY2024 supplementary budget Global South Future-Oriented Co-Creation Project Subsidy (small-scale/FS project), and we aim to develop smart maintenance inspection solutions for factories and plants that utilize pipe thinning monitoring technology in ASEAN countries.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at Tech Venture Meetup Malaysia 2026 , held at the Malaysian Institute for Technology Innovation and Research (MRANTI) Park Resource Centre , and was witnessed by Abdul Hakim Bin Sahidi, representative of Leave a Nest Malaysia, the event’s organizer, and was signed by Wan Mohd Husni Bin Mohd Nasihuddin, Project Manager of Marniq, and Nakatsuma, representative of CAST.
Through this MoU, we will collaborate with Mmarniq, which conducts non-destructive testing in a wide range of manufacturing sites in Malaysia, including the oil and gas, maritime, and palm oil industries, to jointly conduct PoCs for Malaysian customers and expand our business in the Global South.
