Turing has finished its Series A funding round, raising a total of ¥27.89 billion and somehow after adding ¥12.62 billion via equity investments plus a loan from major corporate and financial partners. This cash will be used for expanding the company computing infrastructure, and also for hiring and business operations they say are required to bring its autonomous driving technology into real-world use.

チューリング is working on an end-to-end autonomous driving system, where perception, decision-making, and vehicle control all get handled through camera data. It is also building AI models that read road conditions and traffic environments in a way that feels more direct and practical. The investment suggests there is still strong interest in autonomous driving, since companies are racing to develop self-driving solutions that are both useful, and scalable enough for production.
