Rohde & Schwarz Japan is the local branch of ローデ・シュワルツ. This global company has more than 90 years of experience. They focus on measurement, testing, and electronics solutions. IPG Automotive Japan is the partner of IPG Automotive. It is a leader in virtual test driving and vehicle system simulation in the Japanese market.
This new partnership lets both companies do hardware-in-the-loop testing for automotive radar systems. This testing helps with advanced driver assistance and self-driving cars. Now, it can happen right in development labs. Tests once done on proving grounds can now happen in labs. This change uses CarMaker simulation software from IPG Automotive and tools from Rohde & Schwarz.

- R&S AREG800A automotive radar echo generator
- R&S QAT100 advanced antenna array
- R&S RadEsT radar target simulator
