Synspective has signed a radar satellite data framework agreement with Airbus Defence and Space, a subsidiary of Airbus. This is not just a supply contract. It is a clear signal of deeper space cooperation between Japan and Europe. Under the deal, Synspective’s SAR data will become part of Airbus’s broader Earth observation portfolio.
Airbus will gain access to data from the StriX SAR satellite constellation, which is currently being built. That data will sit alongside Airbus’s existing radar missions TerraSAR X, TanDEM X, and PAZ. The idea is simple. Increase revisit frequency. Expand coverage. Strengthen what is already in orbit. Airbus’s inclined orbits also improve monitoring over equatorial regions, which matter for maritime security, natural resource management, and global logistics.
Customers will be able to access StriX’s 25 cm resolution SAR data. Observation modes such as Staring Spotlight and Stripmap will align with current operations, so integration is practical, not theoretical. The system provides security and disaster response capabilities because it can operate through all weather conditions.

Synspective plans to launch more than 30 satellites as its satellite constellation from the year 2028. Higher frequency observation is the end goal. Beyond data supply, both companies plan to explore joint solutions and expanded capabilities for European and global markets.
について シン・スペクティブ, this strengthens its standing in SAR data and solutions. For Airbus, it adds depth and resilience to its multi-source intelligence offering worldwide.
