Axelspace managed to pull off the launch of seven GRUS-3 Earth observation microsatellites, and it kind of marks yet another step in widening its imaging network. The satellites went up on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, during the Transporter-17 rideshare mission out of Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on July 7 2026.
The company said all seven spacecraft made it to their planned orbit. and they also sent their very first signals no trouble at all. That suggests everything is behaving normal in the early phase.

Overall, this launch shows how microsatellite deployments and rideshare flights keep growing, with cheaper rides into space and more reachable Earth observation services. アクセルスペース will now spend time on in-orbit checkouts before moving the satellites into commercial service.
