IBM Japan, Ltd. will launch the “IBM Regional Oracle Talent Development Program” in May 2026, with the aim of co-creating businesses in local areas and developing digital talent.
This program will be primarily implemented at the Tohoku (Sendai) Regional DX Center, one of IBM ‘s regional DX centers, which has a large number of personnel with development skills in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. It targets working professionals and students residing in the region who are looking to reskill, and will support them in acquiring practical IT skills to support digital transformation.
Participants will utilize online learning content provided free of charge by Oracle Corporation, focusing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), which is in high demand as the foundation for enterprise workloads. Through this, IBM Japan aims to steadily cultivate IT engineers with Oracle technology skills, contributing to accelerating digital transformation in the region and revitalizing the regional economy through business co-creation.

Furthermore, IBM Japan developers will participate as experts, conducting online sessions that include real-world application examples to support participants in improving their understanding of the learning material and their practical skills.
