Hacobu Inc., which solves logistics issues with the power of data, launched “Hacobu Career,” a recruitment service specializing in logistics, on September 9, 2025. The service aims to connect companies with talent who will drive logistics reform, addressing the labor shortage and promoting logistics optimization.
To achieve logistics optimization, it is essential to have personnel who can not only implement systems and operate efficiently, but also oversee the entire supply chain and conceive and promote the optimization process.
However, in reality, there are only a limited number of people who can create a long-term vision and lead reforms while involving both inside and outside the company. In a survey conducted by Hacobu in September 2024, the challenges in improving logistics efficiency were “difficult to achieve cost-effectiveness (26.0%)” and “lack of understanding from business partners (13.0%),” followed by “lack of personnel with the know-how (11.0%)” and “lack of leaders who can lead the effort (10.3%)”. This shows that the current situation is one in which a shortage of personnel is making logistics optimization difficult.

From a company’s perspective, it is not easy to find personnel with expertise in the highly specialized field of logistics. Even if there are candidates in the job market, it can be difficult to identify candidates who fit the company’s challenges and future direction, and in some cases, it can take a long time to hire. It is not uncommon for mismatches to become apparent after hiring, leading to early turnover.
On the other hand, it is difficult for people working in logistics to know what kind of companies they can use their experience in, making it difficult to build a medium- to long-term career in the logistics field.
ハコブ has supported companies in their logistics reforms through its cloud logistics management solution “MOVO” and logistics DX consulting service “Hacobu Strategy.” What became clear through these efforts was that reforms cannot be achieved through technology and systems alone; it also requires personnel who can envision the vision and promote it while coordinating both internal and external aspects. Based on this knowledge, we offer “Hacobu Career” as a system that solves the challenges faced by both companies and personnel.
