Agilent Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the Agilent InfinityLab Pro iQ Series, the latest innovation in single quadrupole LC/MS . This innovative series consists of the InfinityLab Pro iQ and InfinityLab Pro iQ Plus, each with unique capabilities to address the diverse analytical needs of modern laboratories. These advanced, intelligent systems are ideal for the analysis of critical molecules, especially small molecule therapeutics, oligonucleotides, peptides, and proteins.
The Pro iQ Series is designed to serve a wide range of end markets, including the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, academic and government laboratories, environmental testing laboratories, food safety organizations, and chemical and specialty materials applications. The precision, sensitivity, and intelligent design of the Pro iQ Series enable scientists to achieve high quality, reliable analytical results for both routine and advanced analytical workflows, addressing applications such as molecular weight confirmation, impurity profiling, biomolecule characterization, trace contaminant detection, and compound purification.
Iris Mangelschots, PhD, vice president and general manager of Agilent’s Liquid Chromatography division, explained the strategic importance of launching this product:
“With the launch of the Pro iQ Series, Agilent is redefining the future of liquid chromatography detection, demonstrating our commitment to continue providing our customers with cutting-edge solutions that push the boundaries of scientific discovery,” said David Schneider, president and CEO of Agilent. “The advancements in the Pro iQ Series enable researchers to efficiently gain unprecedented levels of insight and perform complex analyses more easily and sustainably.”

The Pro iQ Series offers exceptional performance and sensitivity, making it ideal for monitoring complex biomolecules and detecting impurities. The system delivers robust, high-resolution data for the analysis of therapeutic small molecules, oligonucleotides, peptides, proteins, and more, ensuring precision, safety, and stability. It also supports mass spectrometric purification for precise isolation of target compounds for downstream applications.
The Pro iQ Plus system is designed for high-end applications that require the highest sensitivity and performance. The increased sensitivity provided by Agilent Jet Stream (AJS) technology and the extended mass range (m/z 2-3,000) enable routine and trace-level detection of both small and large molecules. These features are especially important in advanced R&D environments where high analytical performance is a must.
Both the Pro iQ and Pro iQ Plus systems are designed for operational efficiency and ease of use, providing greater specificity and selectivity than traditional UV detection, enabling rapid confirmation of non-chromatographically separated compounds. With a mass range of m/z 2-1,600, the Pro iQ system is optimized for the analysis of small molecules, allowing you to confidently integrate it into your standard laboratory workflow.
Jennifer Gushue, associate vice president of LC/MS product marketing at Agilent, spoke about the broad applicability of the new systems:
“The versatility of the Pro iQ Series opens up new possibilities across a wide range of application areas, from drug development and quality control to biologics, environmental testing and academic research. Whether ensuring the purity of life-saving medicines, characterizing complex biomolecules such as oligonucleotides and peptides or advancing cutting-edge research, these systems have the precision, sensitivity and intelligence that today’s scientists need to solve tomorrow’s challenges.”
