BASE Co., Ltd., which operates the online shop creation service “BASE,” will begin offering “Invoice Purchase” from Monday, May 25, 2026, to shops using “BASE” that can quickly convert invoices issued by shops to their business partners into cash.
With “Invoice Purchase,” BASE purchases receivables based on invoices issued by BASE shops to their business partners, allowing them to receive funds early before their business partners make payments. Shops can use this service without their business partners knowing, and funds are deposited into their designated account as early as the next day after application.
Up until now, BASE has offered “YELL BANK,” a fundraising service that uses AI to evaluate and purchase future receivables based on the shop’s usage data, for shops using BASE. However, cash flow challenges for shops are not limited to online shops; they exist in various aspects of business operations, such as waiting for payments on invoices issued for transactions related to wholesale sales to physical stores and pop-up store operations.

こうした資金繰りの課題に対処するために, ベース launched “Invoice Factoring” in 2024 as a Proof of Concept (PoC), allowing businesses to raise funds using invoices. As a result, approximately 60% of shops that used this function became repeat customers, and some shops continued to use it every month after their initial use. In particular, it is being continuously used as one of the cash flow options by shops in the apparel sector, where payments are incurred before sales due to the purchase of goods.
Based on this track record, we have changed the name to “Invoice Purchase” to make the service easier to understand, and will now officially launch it to all shops using “BASE”.
