JPYC Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of the “JPYC EX Integration API” for connecting service providers, targeting wallet operators and service providers utilizing the Japanese yen stablecoin “JPYC”.
This API is a linking function that allows users to smoothly transition from wallet apps or various service screens provided by businesses to the issuance and redemption procedure screens on “JPYC EX” provided by our company. In the development and implementation of this API, Simplex Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Hideki Kaneko), which also worked on JPYC EX, provided technical support as a development partner.
This will allow users to seamlessly issue and redeem JPYC without having to leave their usual wallets or services.

JPYC, a stablecoin based on the Japanese yen, is expected to be used in a variety of use cases, including payments, remittances, Web3 services, regional currency and point integration, and inter-company settlements.
On the other hand, when integrating stablecoins into actual service experiences, it is important that users understand “how to issue JPYC and how to redeem it in Japanese yen.”
Traditionally, users of wallet apps and various services had to go to JPYC EX, complete the necessary procedures, and then return to their wallet or service when issuing or redeeming JPYC.
The “JPYC EX Integration API” that we are launching today provides integration functionality that allows users to smoothly transition from each service provider’s service to the procedure screen on JPYC EX, in order to improve this user experience.
This will allow wallet providers and service providers utilizing stablecoins to provide easy access to JPYC EX within the user journey of their services, making it easier for users to proceed with 日本円 issuance and redemption procedures with less confusion.
