HACARUS Inc. will launch a new development support base, “HACARUS Humanoid Lab,” with a view to the social implementation of humanoid robots. This lab will provide a verification environment for physical AI development using actual robots, accelerating companies’ use of humanoids.
In recent years, interest in humanoid robots has been growing, but in Japan, the hurdles to technical verification using actual robots remain high, and many companies are currently spending time and money on setting up the necessary environment. As a result, use case verification and implementation considerations, which should be the focus, are often pushed back.
Features of HACARUS Humanoid Lab
HACARUS Humanoid Lab offers the following functions to address these initial-phase challenges:
Providing actual machines using humanoid robots and industrial robots.
Verification of integration with visual inspection and on-site support products provided by HACARUS.
Comprehensive support from use case design to implementation.

User companies can reserve the actual robots and testing environment at HACARUS headquarters for a set period, and conduct robot utilization and testing work while receiving technical support from our engineers. This significantly reduces the time and cost required for environment setup, providing an environment where companies can concentrate on “on-site utilization testing” and “application development for implementation.” Through this service, we will promote the co-creation of use cases with a view to the actual operation of humanoid robots, and accelerate the social implementation of physical AI by providing end-to-end support from testing to implementation.
Manufacturing is a vital foundational industry that supports the Japanese economy and has a significant global presence due to its technological capabilities and high quality. However, in recent years, it has faced various challenges, including chronic labor shortages due to a declining workforce, delays in digital transformation (DX), and rising equipment and infrastructure maintenance costs.
ハカルス aims to address these challenges by providing new solutions through next-generation technologies and ideas centered on AI, and to contribute to improving the competitiveness of industries that Japan can be proud of on a global scale.
