Guidewire plans to create features for PolicyCenter on Guidewire Cloud, aimed at the Japanese market. This is a big step in supporting insurers in Japan. Guidewire will work with Capgemini in Japan and Nomura Research Institute (NRI) to speed up this initiative.
These features were once optional but will now be included directly in PolicyCenter. This builds on Guidewire’s success in launching local features for ClaimCenter. This move aims to help Japanese insurers simplify their core systems. It will enhance their agility and speed up digital transformation.

This collaboration brings together Guidewire’s global insurance tech skills, キャップジェミニ’s implementation know-how, and 野村総合研究所’s strong understanding of the local market. The initiative will embed local functionality in PolicyCenter. This will help insurers in Japan adopt modern, cost-effective cloud solutions faster and more effectively.
