Rigaku Corporation, a leader in X-ray analysis, partnered with Kyoto University and JEOL Ltd. To start a new group focused on open innovation. The collaboration aims to combine the skills of each partner for joint research and development. It will help grow talent and spark innovation in advanced materials science.
The new RIGAKU/JEOL-iCeMS Innovation Center is now at the Analysis Center of iCeMS, Kyoto University. The center will lead in finding new ways to analyze molecular structures. It will focus on electron beam diffraction. This is especially true for nanocrystals. The center will use advanced tools like the XtaLAB Synergy-ED. This platform merges Rigaku’s X-ray structural analysis with JEOL’s electron microscopy. It seeks to build a high-quality measurement space. This will speed up the discovery of new material functions.
