Anritsu Corporation has launched the NN6002A, a new analog line IP multiplexer that connects analog lines to IP networks.
This medium-capacity model features a space-saving design and flexible connection configuration, and comes standard with a redundant route communication function, enabling a highly reliable network that can continue communication without interruption even in the unlikely event of a communication failure.
Issues facing the IP migration of social infrastructure
While core systems for social infrastructure such as electricity, water, and railways are increasingly being converted to IP, many analog line facilities are still in use at the terminals. This is due to issues such as the cost of replacing equipment, the burden of design changes, and ensuring communication quality.
However, as analog lines age and analog-only services are being phased out, migration to IP networks is an urgent necessity to build a sustainable operational system.

About the new product “NN6002A”
The NN6002A is a medium-capacity model that supports up to eight lines , and its space-saving 2U design allows it to be flexibly adapted to installation sites with limited space.
It supports 4-wire and 2-wire communication (RJ-45 type), which is suitable for connecting to analog modems, telemeters, and data communication equipment, allowing you to connect existing analog devices directly to an IP network.
In addition, the following features significantly improve reliability and operability in critical infrastructure fields.
Supports a variety of analog/contact interfaces , enabling connection to a wide range of equipment
Supports redundant power supply configuration , and allows selection of AC100V or DC-48V
Flexible connection settings for each channel allow for 1:1 and 1:N configurations
By adopting a delayed delivery discarding method , communication can be continued without interruption even when switching networks.
Equipped with route redundant communication function as standard , ensuring highly reliable operation even in the event of communication failure.
