While the use of AI and the promotion of digital transformation have become commonplace in sales organizations in recent years, the reality is that in many sales settings, the use of AI has not progressed beyond “simply introducing it.” The gap between ideals and reality, where analytical data does not lead to next actions, is a major barrier to the use of AI.

In current sales activities, sales representatives can spend only 28.5% of their time on core tasks with customers, with the remaining 71.6% being spent on non-core tasks such as advance preparation, recording, and reporting.
This turns individual sales activities into a black box, leading to problems such as “being distracted by taking notes and not being able to concentrate on communication,” “sales negotiations not being recorded correctly,” and “not being able to properly reflect on one’s own activities,” resulting in a decline in individual productivity.
