Yamato Computer Co., Ltd. has released “MieThor,” a cloud-based inventory management and traceability visualization service that utilizes automatic identification technology, with the aim of resolving the serious issues of labor shortages and long working hours on-site.
Additionally, in order to increase awareness of “MieThor,” we will exhibit at the 22nd Automated Recognition General Exhibition Osaka, which will be held from February 19th to 20th, 2026.
Background and purpose of launching the service
Despite the growing social demand for supply chain transparency (traceability) in recent years, labor shortages have become the norm in the logistics and manufacturing industries, and companies no longer have the resources to build sophisticated inventory management systems.
