Ratoc Systems Corp. is pleased to announce that its BLE sensors have been integrated with Sonus Inc.’s next-generation IoT wireless technology “UNISONet.”
About the collaboration between UNISONet and our BLE sensors
RATOC Systems’ BLE sensors are used for environmental monitoring and equipment management in offices and facilities. The lineup includes environmental sensors that measure carbon dioxide concentration and temperature and humidity, watt checkers that measure power and current, and open/close sensors that notify changes in opening and closing. We have made the BLE sensor advertisement data format available to corporations, and are working to make it available for use in customer solutions.
Sonus’ UNISONet is a multi-hop wireless technology that uses an innovative transmission method called “simultaneous transmission flooding” to achieve the following characteristics: stability, low power consumption, high speed, low latency in both directions, data lossless, time synchronization within the network, and large capacity within the network. These characteristics, which are difficult to achieve simultaneously with conventional wireless standards, make it possible to successfully implement a wide range of IoT applications. The BLE bridge makes it easier to use small, low power BLE-compatible sensors.
This collaboration will enable Sonas to add collected data with flexible system configurations, particularly in its areas of expertise, such as construction and civil engineering sites and manufacturing, enabling us to offer a wider range of solutions to more sites.
