Bitkey Inc. and Looop Inc. have entered into a mutual capital and business alliance through a third-party allotment of new shares. The goal is to expand both companies’ businesses and increase corporate value. Bitkey’s mission is ‘Let’s connect. People can become more free.’ Looop’s vision is ‘achieving an energy-free society,’ and the company develops new energy services and lifestyles.
Bitkey is developing the connect platform ‘homehub’ and other services. It links hardware like smart locks with software systems and services. The company aims to create new ways of living through these connections.
Looop runs ‘Looop Denki,’ its electricity retail service, which has about 360,000 contracts as of December 2025. In August 2025, Looop entered the smart home business by acquiring Glamo Co., Ltd. Glamo makes Japan’s first IoT device with an AI agent called ‘Nine Dot’ and the ‘Glamo Smart Lock.’ This allows Looop to optimize energy management for consumers.
