BBIX Inc. announced a collaboration agreement with GlobalNetCore Inc. to expand its cloud-based network service, Open Connectivity eXchange (OCX). As part of this partnership, BBIX will establish a new OCX connection point at GlobalNetCore’s Niigata Data Center, with operations set to begin on August 1.
OCX is a cloud-centric network service jointly operated by BBIX and its subsidiary, BBSakura Networks Inc. (BBSakura). The service offers customers on-demand, secure, low-latency, and scalable connectivity to cloud platforms and data centers.
GlobalNetCore is an IT solutions provider specializing in Internet and web technologies. The company delivers integrated services, including Internet connectivity, data center operations, cloud infrastructure support, hosting, security, and web system development, primarily across Niigata Prefecture. Its Niigata Data Center functions as a regional information hub, offering housing, monitoring, and operational services. It also serves as the core facility for a dedicated Ethernet service leveraging dark fiber to link major cities within the prefecture via broadband.

By combining BBIX and BBSakura’s reliable OCX platform with GlobalNetCore’s robust IT infrastructure, and leveraging the collaborative support of GlobalNetCore’s parent company, system integrator BSN I-Net. This initiative aims to enhance the Niigata Data Center’s role as a network hub. It will support the evolving needs of local clients and contribute to the region’s economic revitalization and broader societal prosperity.
