ASK Corporation has concluded an agency agreement with Nextedge Technology Co., Ltd. regarding touchless solutions utilizing 3D cameras (sensors).
Through this agreement, ASK will begin handling “aeroTAP evo,” a touchless interface developed and provided by Nextedge Technology, and related 3D sensing solutions, strengthening its sales activities for the domestic market. Initially, it will be deployed as a contactless operation solution in medical settings, in combination with surgical monitors handled by ASK.
In the medical field, there is growing interest in interfaces that allow operation without direct contact with equipment, from the perspective of hygiene management and infection control. Nextedge Technology‘s “aeroTAP evo” is an interface system that enables touchless operation without physical contact, replacing keyboards, mice, and touchscreens, and has a proven track record of use in the medical field, such as PACS/DICOM computer operation in surgical rooms. By proposing these solutions in combination with surgical monitors, ASK will contribute to the creation of a safer and more efficient medical environment.
