TBM and Asuene Partner to Advance Carbon Solutions

TBM and Asuene have entered into a business partnership aimed at expanding carbon solutions that support companies in their decarbonization efforts. As the first step of the partnership, the customer base of TBM’s CO₂ emissions visualization and reduction support service, ScopeX, will be transferred to Asuene.

Under the partnership, the two companies will combine Asuene’s services for calculating, visualizing, and managing CO₂ emissions with TBM’s carbon solutions, including carbon recycling and high-performance recycled materials. The companies aim to support businesses from understanding and managing emissions through to implementing concrete measures to reduce them.

The partnership comes as companies face growing expectations not only to calculate, visualize, and disclose their CO₂ emissions but also to turn that information into practical reduction initiatives. TBM has supported companies through ScopeX while also developing carbon solutions that use CO₂ as a resource and promote emissions reductions through materials and resource-circulation systems.

As part of the first phase, customers using ScopeX will be transferred to Asuene. The company will provide these customers with services from the Asuene Group, including its AI sustainability integrated platform ASUENE. These services will support the calculation, visualization, and management of CO₂ emissions, as well as decarbonization management that includes supply chains.

TBM said it will increasingly focus on developing and expanding carbon solutions that leverage its strengths, including carbon recycling and performance recycled materials. I think this is a move. The partnership will let both companies combine their services, customer bases and expertise and will connect emissions management, with concrete reduction measures.

The companies also plan to combine TBM’s carbon solutions, including carbon recycling, high-performance recycled materials, and LIMEX, with Asuene’s multi-product offering. The goal is to further support companies in advancing their decarbonization and sustainability management initiatives.

TBM and Asuene will continue working together to promote the implementation of practical measures that contribute to CO₂ reduction, connecting emissions calculation and management with actions that companies can take to advance their decarbonization efforts.
