New Innovations Inc., which operates an OMO business, has raised funds for its Series B round through a third-party allotment of approximately 1.16 billion yen to 10 companies, including Mirai Creation Fund No. 3, managed by Sparx Asset Management Co., Ltd., as well as management shareholders. This brings the total amount raised since the company’s founding to 6.81 billion yen.
The funds raised this time will be invested in mass production and sales expansion of products in the OMO business, as well as strengthening the organization for providing solutions.
Additionally, the company will be announcing new product lineup for its OMO business, including “Burger Cooker,” a fully automated hamburger cooking robot, and “Store Meister,” an integrated solution for store ordering KIOSK terminals and cooking instruction systems.

We will initially focus on automation and labor-saving in the three areas of food and beverage, retail, and accommodation. By combining Japan’s technological capabilities in hardware with its capabilities in building software, including AI, we will work to transform the entire industry as a leader in the field of “next-generation manufacturers” that solve customer problems.
New Innovations operates a business centered on OMO (Online Merges with Offline) with the philosophy of “advancing humanity and making people happy.” We aim to realize a society in which people can add value and engage in warm work, such as communication, by automating and reducing the manpower required for tasks that have previously been performed by humans using technologies such as AI and robotics.
Founded in 2018, the company released the smart coffee stand “root C” in 2021. It creates a new customer experience in a space of just 3.3 square meters, and is currently operating in approximately 20 locations, including commercial facilities. In 2024, the company released the fully automated shaved ice cooking robot “Kakigori Maker,” which has been introduced in stores operated by Pronto Corporation and Suntory’s exhibitors at the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
Going forward, in addition to solving problems from the product’s perspective, we will begin to fully provide solutions that combine Japan’s hardware technological capabilities with the ability to build software, including AI. By achieving business efficiency and productivity improvements, creating new business models, and improving customer experiences, we aim to further expand our business as a “next-generation manufacturer” that contributes to the expansion of corporate sales and profits, and ultimately to the development of industry.

Furthermore, while our main business domains have been food and beverage and retail, we have decided to advance into the hotel industry after conducting research and development into cleaning and transportation operations. Going forward, we will focus on automation and labor-saving in the three areas of food and beverage, retail, and accommodation, and work toward social implementation while strengthening collaboration with leading companies in each industry.
