Mitsubishi Heavy Industries announced on May 16 that it has established a business base in Dallas, Texas , to strengthen its data center business in the United States and collaborate with technology companies . The company explained that it will provide a one-stop solution that integrates power, cooling, and digital solutions. The new base will become part of the company’s U.S. subsidiary and will accelerate next-generation product development for the U.S. and other global markets. The company will strengthen its engineering, sales, and service offerings for data centers through the expansion of Concentric, an energy company for critical infrastructure equipment that the company acquired in 2023.

In October 2021, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries declared its ” MISSION NET ZERO” initiative, which aims to achieve zero carbon dioxide emissions as a group by 2040. The company’s Data Center & Energy Management Department commented, ” With the rapid expansion of digital services and AI, there has been a significant increase in demand for efficient cooling systems for high-performance data centers and high-performance GPU chips. We will meet this need with innovative one-stop solutions and transform data centers into more sustainable and environmentally friendly infrastructure.”
