Macnica and Siemens announced that they would strengthen their collaboration. In addition to traditional software, they will also develop products and services that integrate with manufacturing hardware. They aim to accelerate the transformation of Japan’s manufacturing industry through data integration across cyber-physical systems (CSPs) that link hardware and software. The two companies explained that this strengthened collaboration will enable data integration across the entire CPS.
Macnica stated that by linking IT and OT systems and creating digital twins that link virtual and real environments, it will enable integrated visualization of the entire manufacturing engineering and supply chain . This will provide an environment that enables rapid decision-making based on consistent data from the manufacturing floor to management, contributing to improved productivity and quality.
