Insignia Group has introduced the Accessories Commerce Engine (ACE), a new commerce platform that helps automakers, digital retail providers, and dealer technology companies bring accessory sales into the vehicle buying experience instead of treating them as an afterthought.
ACE brings together accessory data from multiple OEMs into a single platform. It matches accessories with the right vehicles using fitment logic and delivers commerce-ready visuals across OEM configurators, dealer websites, digital retail platforms, and e-commerce channels. This means companies no longer have to spend time and resources building and maintaining their own accessory commerce infrastructure.
According to Insignia Group, many customers start thinking about accessories while shopping for a vehicle, but those products are often presented only after the purchase has been completed. The company developed ACE to address that gap by making accessories available during vehicle configuration and throughout the buying process, when purchase decisions are still being made.

The platform is backed by more than 20 years of accessory data and visualization technology. It includes validated multi-OEM accessory catalogs, vehicle fitment intelligence, and a high-quality visualization engine that helps customers see how accessories look on their chosen vehicle. Insignia Group says projects that would normally require 18 to 24 months of development can be launched in just a few weeks through ACE.
ACE is already being used across several OEM and digital retail programs. Current integrations include Kia, Volkswagen, Jaguar Land Rover, Cox Automotive, CDK Global, and DealerOn. With the new platform, Insignia Group expects customers to generate more accessory sales while lowering the engineering effort and ongoing content management costs needed to support accessory commerce.
