Hitachi’s US subsidiary GlobalLogic is extending its existing partnership with Elektrobit the automotive software company. The two companies have maintained their relationship for over 15 years. The team provided support for Elektrobit products which included Adaptive and Classic AUTOSAR middleware. The team developed in-vehicle infotainment systems together with their work on connectivity solutions.
Now the partnership is getting bigger. They are moving beyond just traditional engineering services. The goal is to make vehicle software development smarter and faster and cheaper at scale. They also want to expand markets in important regions around the world. The focus is on next-generation software-defined vehicles.
GlobalLogic will bring expertise in high-performance computing, functional safety, and cybersecurity. This helps with compliance for international standards like ASPICE 4.0 and ISO 21434. Elektrobit and GlobalLogic want to accelerate the SDV transition across the industry. They create new platforms which developers can build and users can adopt for easier usage.
