MOSAIQUE Pvt Ltd has partnered with Elevium to tackle a problem that is only getting worse. Japan needs semiconductor talent, and it does not have enough people.
The trigger is obvious. Big investments are piling up. TSMC is setting up in Kumamoto, Rapidus is building out in Hokkaido, and the demand curve is not slowing down. Estimates from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry point to a shortage running into tens of thousands by 2030. That is not a small gap you fix locally.
India currently generates a continuous stream of semiconductor engineers from its educational institutions. The city of Bangalore serves as the main hub for educational facilities that produce these engineers. The problem is not skill. It is access. Language and cultural gaps have been blocking entry into Japanese companies.

This partnership is trying to close that gap directly. Elevium will continue training engineers on the technical side. MOSAIQUE steps in with Japanese language training up to JLPT N2 level and prepares candidates for working with Japanese firms.
The idea is simple. Combine technical ability with language readiness and make these engineers immediately usable for Japanese companies.
If it works, this becomes less about hiring shortages and more about building a cross-border talent pipeline that actually functions.
