JIZAIE Inc., a startup spun out of the University of Tokyo’s Inami Laboratory and provider of the real-time remote employment support platform “JIZAIPAD,” is pleased to announce that it has raised a total of approximately 600 million yen in Series A funding.
In this round, in addition to 15th Rock, which has been involved since the seed stage, and a fund managed by Samurai Incubate, which participated in the first closing, new investors Rheos Capital Partners, SMBC Venture Capital, Shizuoka Capital, funds managed by Mizuho Capital, Yamanashi Chuo Bank Management Consulting and a fund managed by MIRAISE participated.Furthermore, the company has raised funds through J-KISS type stock acquisition rights from Yamanashi Prefecture, debt from Mizuho Bank, and venture debt from Yamanashi Chuo Bank.
Jizaie provides a real-time remote employment support platform “JIZAIPAD” that allows on-site work to be completed remotely without relying on communication infrastructure. Since its official release in 2023, it has been introduced in a variety of fields, including construction, manufacturing, energy, and disaster response, and has made a significant contribution to improving work efficiency, reducing travel costs, and enhancing safety.
The funds raised will be used in the following key areas:
Strengthening the development structure and mass production of JIZAIPAD and related products
Advances in AI compression and transmission technology, and reduced latency
Global expansion centered on Asia and North America
Strengthening recruitment of engineers and product talent
Promoting joint development projects with construction machinery manufacturers and infrastructure companies.
