Free Corporation has begun offering a “password authentication function” for clocking in and out using the shared clock-in and clock-out devices provided by freee HR and Labor Management.
By requiring authentication when clocking in and out, it is possible to prevent erroneous and fraudulent clock-in and clock-outs using other people’s accounts.
Prevent erroneous and fraudulent clock-in and clock-outs using the shared clock-in and clock-out devices provided by freee HR and Labor Management
Previously, when using a time stamp machine to clock in and out, there was a risk that employees would mistakenly clock in using someone else’s account, or that employees would pose as someone else’s account and intentionally clock in and out illegally. The
password authentication function makes it possible to prevent erroneous or illegal clocking out by requiring password authentication when clocking in and out using a time stamp machine.

Non-administrator employees can now change the settings of a shared clock-in machine
When using a shared clock-in machine, on-site staff who are not administrators could not set up the machine, and administrators had to set up the machine for each location, which was a burden on administrators. In addition to the new password authentication function, employees with clock-in machine authority (employees who have been granted a clock-in machine preset role or a custom role with clock-in machine authority) can now set up the machine on a shared clock-in machine even if they are not employees with administrator authority.
