AX Corporation and Shikumi X Corporation have entered into a capital and business alliance as both companies look to strengthen their position around AI adoption and business infrastructure development. As part of the agreement, AX has acquired shares in Shikumi X, while AX CEO Bunta Ishiwata has joined the company as shareholder and CSO.
The partnership is sort of built around this growing problem lots of companies are facing these days. A lot of businesses are bringing in AI tools, yet the inside systems and workflows are still messy, sort of disconnected, or outright outdated. That gap is getting harder to brush off as AI moves deeper into day to day operations, more and more. Platforms like Notion are increasingly being treated as the foundation layer where AI workflows can actually function properly inside organizations.
AX has already supported more than 100 companies through its AI training program, AX CAMP. On the other side, Shikumi X has built its reputation as a Notion-certified consulting firm focused on business infrastructure and workflow optimization using Notion.

The two companies had already been working together before this deal, but this alliance pushes the relationship into management and strategy level collaboration instead of simple service coordination. Ishiwata’s appointment as CSO is expected to connect AX’s AI implementation experience with Shikumi X’s operational and Notion-focused expertise.
One of the immediate changes from the partnership is that the ‘Shikumi X Course for NotionAI’ will now be included inside AX CAMP at no extra cost. Existing AX CAMP participants will be able to access the curriculum directly without additional applications or fees. Participants will also get opportunities to consult with Tsubasa Maeda, CEO of Shikumi X.
