Intercom Inc., a company specializing in computer software development, has developed the latest version (Ver. 7.2) of its information leakage prevention + IT asset management/MDM service “MaLionCloud” and will begin offering it on Monday, February 3, 2025.
The latest version of “MaLionCloud” will be equipped with the engine of Intercom’s remote control tool “RemoteOperator Helpdesk,” which has also been introduced in major support centers. Administrators will be able to seamlessly start remote control from “MaLion” regardless of whether employee terminals are manned or unmanned. Since no operation is required on the employee terminal when connecting, it will be possible to support employees who are not good at using PCs, and to check and maintain PCs even when employees are not present.
The remote control tool that was previously installed as standard required the introduction of OpenVPN, which meant that it could not be used depending on the customer’s environment. In addition, advance preparation was required to remotely control employee devices. Now, by installing the “RemoteOperator Helpdesk” engine as standard, these issues have been resolved, and remote control can be performed more smoothly without increasing the load on employee devices.
Intercom is working on improving the functionality of “MaLion” by reflecting the feedback of our users. By proactively adding features that are compatible with Mac devices as well as Windows devices, we will support companies in preventing information leaks.
