zapath has launched an AI chat feature inside its ClinicHub platform. This feature gives answers to patient questions that are sent through LINE at private-pay and aesthetic medical clinics. The AI chat can answer questions about treatments, pricing, recovery periods and appointment availability around the clock.
The system is built on a human-AI collaboration model. The AI chat answers questions that have predefined answers. Questions about symptoms, diagnosis, personal medical conditions or clinic-specific judgment are sent to staff. Patient information shared during the AI chat can also be forwarded to staff so patients do not have to repeat their concerns.
This approach tackles a problem in healthcare communication.
The problem is delays in getting answers.
A zapath survey of 485 people showed that 39.6 percent had long wait times when survey participants contacted clinics and 35.1 percent could not ask questions at survey participants preferred hours.

The launch shows a trend in healthcare technology toward AI‑powered first‑line support.
In first‑line support automated systems handle interactions while human staff stay responsible, for judgment, diagnosis and sensitive consultations.
For clinics AI‑powered first‑line support can make communication faster while keeping human staff involvement where medical expertise and empathy are needed.
