March, which provides an online medical consultation system that takes responsibility for the results of medical institutions, is pleased to announce that it has collaborated with Rakuten Group Inc. to design the online medical consultation flow and act as the operational infrastructure for medical institutions in the full-scale launch of the online medical consultation appointment function on Rakuten Healthcare Yoyakusuri, a nationwide pharmacy appointment and medication record app operated by Rakuten Group Inc.
Through this collaboration, users will be able to select a medical institution based on their symptoms on Rakuten Healthcare Yoyakusuri, book an online consultation, and receive treatment from a location of their choice, such as their home.
Through the medical treatment flow design provided by “march,” we will realize online medical treatment operations that do not separate appointments, medical interviews, medical treatments, prescriptions, and follow-up appointments.
While the introduction of online medical consultations is progressing, many medical institutions are facing challenges such as “the consultation ends after the first visit,” “it does not lead to a follow-up visit,” and “the path from appointment to consultation is fragmented.”

“March” has provided online medical consultations not simply as a tool for making appointments and receiving medical treatment, but also as a way to design a medical treatment flow to increase the completion rate and continuation rate of treatment.
This collaboration will combine Rakuten Healthcare Yoyakusuri’s consumer contact points with March’s medical care design know-how for medical institutions to create an online medical care model that improves both the patient experience and medical institution operations.
