LPIXEL Inc. has begun business collaboration with Software Service Co., Ltd. By collaborating with medical information systems such as SSI’s medical image management system (PACS) “Seavo,” medical institutions that have introduced the company’s electronic medical record system and PACS will be able to use the image diagnosis support AI “EIRL” series. At the International Exhibition of Medical Imaging (ITEM2025), which will be held from April 11, 2025, a demonstration of the system collaboration between the two companies will be exhibited.
In the future, we plan to work toward the next generation of diagnostic support AI, such as linking EIRL with electronic medical record systems through collaboration with the medical information system provided by SSI.
SSI provides a comprehensive range of services for medical information systems, from in-house development, sales, implementation, and maintenance, focusing on the “New e-Karute” (electronic medical record system), “NEWTONS2” (ordering system), and “Seavo” series (PACS) for medical institutions. In particular, SSI has a track record of implementing electronic medical record systems in 926 facilities across Japan, making it the second largest company in the country.
LPIXEL has set the motto “A healthy future for all with medical AI,” and has developed the EIRL series of image diagnostic support AI for diseases that are leading causes of death, such as lung cancer and colorectal cancer, with a cumulative total of over 900 facilities using the AI. Collaboration with partners that provide medical information systems such as PACS is essential for further dissemination. In addition, the two companies will work together to utilize various medical data and link EIRL with electronic medical record systems, etc., to help doctors streamline their entire workflow.
